Emergent Adds Quality, CDMO Leaders
Over the next few weeks, Emergent will add two senior leaders to its Quality and Compliance and Contract Development & Manufacturing (CDMO) organizations.
Starting April 1, Coleen Glessner will join Emergent as Executive Vice President with enterprise responsibility for the Global Quality and Ethics and Compliance functions reporting directly to the CEO, Robert Kramer. Glessner comes to Emergent from Alexion Pharmaceuticals where she was Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer.
Bill Hartzel is joining Emergent as Senior Vice President for CDMO starting March 14. Hartzel will lead Emergent’s CDMO business, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Adam Havey. Hartzel was most recently Chief Commercial Officer for Woodstock Sterile Solutions.
